It's a way to see an entire wedding and meet with vendors while seeing their work in action. You see vendors that can put a wedding on. Make-up, hair, gowns, tuxedos, flowers, favors, video, photographer, DJ, band, etc.
that sounds really cool. but how do they choose the vendors, the wedding party, the location? is it selected at random?

actually all the BM's were 06 brides- just the maid of honor was an 07er (kahlua716). you should go next year, they have so many prizes!!!
The wedding party is chosen at random, from those already married. You have to sign up to be in the drawing. (This year was the first year they actually had a MAID of honor too.) The vendors are chosen by LIW. And I think they always have it at CLM. Most LIW events are there.
