Soooo this may sound silly, but being new-ish to this website, I was wondering if any of you could give me more information! I know it stands for 'The Wedding of the Year' and I even visited the website through LI Weddings, but what exactly is it? Someone's wedding sponsored by all LI Wedding vendors?

other ladies on here can probably explain better but from what i understand (never been before) is that it's a 'MOCK' wedding with the prior years brides making up the bride & bridal party. It's to showcas all the vendors-dj's florist; you name it. it has it's own site-you pay to attend; i'm assuming though that LIW pays for the bridal party participants hair; make up; dress limos etc since you win these roles by entering a contest.

Ahhhhh I see! That is what I was confused about-whether it was an actual wedding or not! Thanks so much for responding!

TWOTY is in January at a reception hall on Long Island
All the vendors from the site donate their services to showcase their amazing work.
We pay to attend but you get an entire cocktail hour, mean and dessert buffet.
It sells out in like a day so next December if you want to attend be ready to buy your tickets.
The next big event is The Bridal Show on March 3rd. I think it is either free or 5 dollars if you pre registrar that you are attending.
