I had such a great time today meeting the lovely Wedding of the Year bridal party - MOH Rosella (MrsBartonToBe) and BM Marie (Brian and Marie). CuriousGeorge couldn't make it because of work Ron and Kim - great to meet you too! And Mr. Video Guy (I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name!) - thanks for recording our experience... just make sure we all look good in whatever footage you use!
So we all met up at Village Bridal & Boutique in Babylon - the store is very nice and they have some gorgeous dresses. The girls picked beautiful gowns - each one will be wearing a different style! So cool! Annnnnnnnnnd, I found THE ONE! Woohoo! I honestly didn't think I'd find something I loved and figured I'd just wear my wedding gown again (which I really did love so that wouldn't have been a problem), but it so happened that the first dress I picked out, was THE ONE! One dress had already been picked for me to try on, so I tried that one first. It was a beautiful Demetrios gown, but a little 'much' for me. Then I tried on my first choice and fell in love! It was literally a perfect fit! So weird! They will just need to hem it for my shorty-ness. lol.
Anyway, I never posted pics of my wedding gown before my wedding and I think I'll keep that same 'tradition' for TWOTY too - hopefully I'll surprise you lovely ladies who will be attending. But, I will say it's a beautiful gown by San Patrick and is very different than the gown I wore to my October wedding! I believe San Patrik is the same company as Pronovias. I hope you will all like it!!!
The people at Village Bridal were super nice, friendly, and helpful! They helped me pick a veil to go with the gown too! They have a very nice selection of dresses and mentioned they will even be getting more new styles (including Badgley Mishka, Alvina Valenta bridal, Demetrios, San Patrick, Maggie Sottero, etc) and have a great price variety too. I would definitely recommend them if you're still dress shopping.
Can't wait to wear THE 'NEW' ONE on Jan. 19th and see the entire bridal party looking amazing!!!

The dress is GORGEOUS!!! All of our dresses are BEAUTIFUL!!! Village Bridal was really nice, awesome selection of dresses and a very sweet staff (with fun accents).
