ty card question

i had my shower and am working on my thank you cards.
A mother & daughter gave me a gift together and i would like to send one thank you card to them combined. is this wrong? technically she does not live with her mom but she stays there 3 nights a week.
if i should write 2 separate cards, is it ok to write the same exact thing in both cards???

i think you're ok since they live together 3 days a week. if they didnt live together then i'd say send two cards

I think in that case its ok to send one card but I would do whatever was done with the shower invites. Meaning if two separate invites were sent to the mother and daughter, I'd send two thank you notes.

And yes, I think writing the same sentiment is perfectly acceptable in this case.
