type of bustle for my dress? leaving in an hour so i need advice quick lol
totally forgot that today was the day I was getting my bustle on my dress- i knew it was another fitting, but forgot that part of it lol.... I attached a couple of pics of my dress, and i'm unsre of what type of bustle to do- it is a drop waist a-line that was made more fitted, and there is no crinoline or anything on the bottom, so there are few layers to bustle- I know NOTHING about bustles, so any help is appreciated

I don't know which bustle it's called- but I am having them bustle over the top on the oustide- I think it looks prettier. The other option is bustling under. Sorry I don't know specific names!

Beautiful Dress, it looks Great on you!
I know nothing about bustles too, just knew I didn't want it to make my butt look bigger than it already was. lol We went to a woman who used to be a dress maker and she pointed out that in my dress there is a little loop than can go over your wrist so you can have it off the floor when you dance and such and that it really didn't need bustling. I don't know that I'm going to hold it up all day at the reception, but at least if I am dancing I know I won't kill myself.
David's Bridal has a page that can show you different types of bustles so you can get an idea of what types there are and if you hate them or would consider them.
I went to the bottom of their page where it says customer service, clicked on Help & Faq's,then to Our Stores, and Alterations & Store Services In the second paragraph there is a word link that says See Bustle Options.
I hope this helps you narrow down what you like before you get there. Good Luck

yeah i saw alot of pics of lace dresses bustled under and I don't like the look of the single flap just folded underneath... I read online about an 'italian' bustle where everything is tucked underneath and it looks like exactly the same as before, except the train just looks like it was chopped off lol- I think I might try to ask about that, idk yet

hi!
my lady pulled the dress into the types of bustles and we took pics from the back. I ended up with a french bustle which i never thought i wanted, but it looked better with the dress. have them mock it up and take a pic...it's easier to compare that way.
good luck, have fun!

i ended up doing this at the fitting and picked a french bustle too- was a little sleeker looking than the others- i didn't want it to be all puffy in the back
