typing up list for maitre de???

For those of you who typed up/ are in the process of typing/ or have typed specific instructions for your Maitre de....

1.) What type of instructions did you include? (How specific do I have to get)

Does anyone still have a copy of their instructions saved on their comp.


2.) Also can someone post for me the list of vendors that should be receiving tips the day of and approx how much per vendor???

I didn't type a list at all for the maitre d, sorry. I went over everything with my BM the day before when I brought in my final payment.
As far as tipping, here are the amounts we tipped. It's not usually a percentage, just a set amount.

Maitre D: $4 pp (usual is between $3-$5 pp)
Bridal Attendant: $100+ dep on service
DJ/MC/Dinner singer: $50 each.
Videog/Photog/Photog Assistant: $50 each
CH Band: $20 each member
Makeup/Hair: $50

We would have liked to have tipped certain vendors more but we were so broke by that time....also do a search, there are so many threads on this topic here.

I didnt type up a list for maitre'd. They give you a sheet that will have drawings of tables, on that piece of paper you write down how many ppl at each table and how many favors at each table. Then on that sheet you write any further instructions and thats what i did. I included table runners on the tables that i will provide, menu's that i will provide, table numbers that i will provide. They ask you all the questions and go over it with you
