So im finally thinking about buying myself a pair, i think im going to buy the black classics but i cant decide if i want the short or long ones
Which ones do you where the most? I'm a teacher and theres no dress code so i would wear them often either with jeans, or even with like black dress pants or whatever
Also where can i just go and buy them? (i dont feel like ordering online)

I personally would get the tall ones. In my opinion they are much more useful plus they are SO warm. I have gotten mine at Lord and Taylor and you can get them online (i know you said you didn't want to ) at Zappos. Or if you go out to Tanger they have a store.

do u ever wear the long ones under pants? bc if i were to wear them with black pants i would wear them under the pants not over them and i just want to make sure that doesnt look stupid haha

What I should say is that I do wear them more casual work clothes for the most part so they tend to have bigger bottoms anyway and jeans of course

I have the short ones. Go to The Walking Company in Roosevelt Field and try them both on....and they do run big!

Ok I'm prob going to get the tall ones... I'm thinking about getting the kids size 6 bc I hear they're cheaper and they'd fit me, so now I just have to find them... Ill def try roosevelt field!

Try the Walking Company, Nordstrom, or Bloomingdales. Also, Zappos and the Ugg Website have free shipping. And on the Ugg Website you don't pay for tax either.

not sure if this matters to you but i was just reading about it cuz i wanted to get another pair in black. on zappos ppl say the black ones make your feet colored (maybe cuz the fur inside is black)???? has anyone else heard of this???
if u end up not getting the kids ones...my friend got the classics at the woodbury commons for a lot less. there is also a site online that sells the real ones discounted (i forget the name but if u google it should pop up)...but the problem is its final sale (i think).
i ordered mine a size smaller than my normal shoe size and at first i thought they were too small when i tried them on but then they molded and fit perfectly now.

I just bought two new pairs at Lord & Taylor, but DH has gotten them for me online before. All of mine are classic shorts and I just bought the Cardys. HTH

I am all about Uggs! I'm already on my second pair (have both tall and short). One thing I would suggest is getting the Ultra vs. Classic. They have better grips on the soles. They are actually rubber whereas the Classics are not. Also, all the new Classics are made in China. So I think the quality isnt really all there. The Ultras are still made in New Zealand. If you tried on both you will notice a huge difference. I think the Ultras are 20-30 bucks more but totally worth it. My first pair lasted me 4 years. When the inside lining started wearing away I bough a new liner from The Walking Company.

I have the super short ones. They come up to the ankle. I got mine at Journey's. I wear mine under my jeans. Never over, they're super short anyway so they would look stupid.

I bought mine online at Nordstrom mainly because it was free shipping on all shoes, which I believe ends today. I also wanted to let you know that their customer services is excellent I wore my shoes for 3 days and I can still return them. I realized they are too big I made post yesterday. I am getting an even exchange and they are waving the shipping fee. I also received them in about 3 days. I bought the shortone mainly because I wear them under my pants. I love them and they are supper comfy GL

zappos is free shipping and free return shipping.
I have a pair of classic short (chestnut) and classic tall (winter violet) and I prefer the taller height. I wear them under my pants 99% of the time, but I think if you wear them with leggings or over pants or with a skirt (which I never have, but you could) I think the tall looks much better. Plus, you can fold them down.
They also keep your legs a lot warmer.
The ultra ones have better traction but I prefer the look of the classic because they arent as bulky.
The classic styles run large. If you read the reviews on zappos people say 1 to 1.5 sizes large. I'm a size 7-7.5 and I wear a size 6 in UGGs and they fit me perfectly. A little snug when you first get them but they loosen up quickly and mold to the shape of your feet. Don't wear them with socks!

yesss i have the black and i saw a post yesterday on these that you are not supposed to wear sock with uggs but i do cuz my black make my feet black and it does not come off easly! lol and they do run big and i love my tall ones!!! i wear them inside my jeans all the time i promised DH i would never wear them on the outside or with spandex!
