Ugghhh..I have the Maisy the Mouse song running through my head...

It's been there all day. Amber was giving me a hard time yesterday and I couldn't do anything to comfort her. I think she might be starting to teethe because she was gumming away on her little hand/binky and drooling like a fiend. Anyway, I popped in this Maisy the Mouse tape I had left over from my other nices (they never watched it) and put her in her little swing in front of the TV. She was mesmorized! She actually got crabby when I walked in front of her...excuse me!! I was just so happy she was happy, I think I rewound it like 8 times (until she fell asleep). Now I have the darn song in my head!!

I don't even have kids and the Toys R Us theme song always pops in my head!! I break out with it in the middle of class and my students are like

I was going to ask what the deal is with him? Why does he 'sound' mentally challenged? Couldn't they have given him a better sound effect? And what's with him eating and stealing everything? I think the show is more 'tolerable' than let's say Barney who sings about just everything from the second he's on the screen, but I can't even begin to imagine how many more years of this programming I'm going to be exposed to?!?

If i hear one more verzion of Ba ba black sheep and twinkle twinkle little star it makes me nuts.. i think Fisher Price has 8400 different ways to put thwm in their prodicts...
