Ugh.....

I have a stomache virus I freaking hate this. And I HAVE to go to work tomorrow. This hit me like a ton of bricks. I was on such a healthy streak. Freaking kids!

If it makes you feel better in the last 3 weeks we have had cases of Whooping cough and chicken pox in my school.

Rest when you are not at work, buy hand sanitizer and don't touch anything that the kids touch with their mouth.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO good about this this year! But I guess there's only so much you can do before you do get sick. Another teacher went home sick from work today with the same stomache virus. Luckily I made it till the end of the day!
I'm really contemplating staying home tomorrow, but I need to prepare my kids for an audition they have next Thursday, and if I don't go in tomorrow, then they will not all be evenly prepared, which causes some major problems come time for our musical.

Oh, I'm so sorry. There are lots of bugs going around.

I only see them two times a week. The problem is that we need to have auditions next Thursday and because of the b itchy azz parents in our school, we have to have EQUAL rehearsal time before all auditions. These freaking people need everything spoon fed to them They're lucky I even teach them audition songs AT ALL. That's not even how it's supposed to work. Sorry, I went off on a tangent. Maybe I'll just change the audition date, since, well, I AM the one doing the musical

7, I'd say. I've been feeling worse as the night goes on We also have a 24 hour rule in my school for teachers AND students...you can't come back to school if you've thrown up in the last 24 hours. So technically, I'm not allowed to go to work

Well then I say change the date and rest up. I know what you mean about what you were saying and I understand that you are trying to be a good teacher,but your health is more important (on a side note if it makes you feel better, we had a teacher who had to have a hysterecotomy, a bladder lift and something else, she had MAJOR complications and almost died do you know we had parents B1tch that she came back 3 weeks later than she originally thought and we had a certified math teacher in there to take her place not just a random sub, point being you can never make everyone else happy all the time. So you have to take care of you first!)

Well, ok, I'm not going to work tomorrow. I made some phone calls to get the audition music distributed to my kids, at least! Thanks for all the well-wishes everyone!
