Ugh...

Ugh...

I drove into work this morning, and as soon as I walked in, I felt like I was going to pass out. My principal saw me and said I looked pale as a ghost, so I spoke to my headmaster and came home. I feel better now that I slept for three hours, but why is it that I feel SO guilty that I came home? I think I am just exhausted and that is why I feel so awful, but I just have this huge guilt on my shoulders because I'm not at work. I hate feeling irresponsible

I know how you feel, but just think that in order to give your best, you need to feel your best. Feel better.

That's not being irresponsible, that's being responsible for leaving when you knew you weren't feeling well.

FEEL BETTER

Exactly!!

Just take care of yourself .. if you pushed yourself through the day it was probably only going to get worse before it got better

Re: Ugh...

Thanks guys. I'm feeling okay now. I'm going to the doctor later just to be on the safe side, but I think I just need to rest more. I know I shouldn't feel guilty, but I just KNOW that everyone at work is talking about me today. I hate having a small school. Whenever someone is out, they all talk about them and say the nastiest things. I know I shouldn't care about that, but there's so many people who NEVER miss a day, and I have missed two in the last three weeks. I'm just afraid of getting really sick because I have a concert next week, then my sister's wedding, then my kids are doing a musical, etc... Anyway, thanks for the kind words
