So, I just got back from hanging out with a friend and her boyfriend. The boyfriend totally insulted me by telling me that my wedding is going to be classless because we decided to go with a dj and not a band. He was like, a band is classy, a dj is not. He goes..'is it a bar mitzvah or a wedding?' Ughhh...so mean!

ewww thats mean. But its YOUR PREFERENCE. And although i think bands are wonderful, you dont always get the best song selection from them! Plus there are awkward moments of silence... You shoulda told him 'Its my wedding, not yours, if you dont like the dj, just dont dance' grrr people make me mad :(

I guess a lot of us on here are classless.... what is he talking about???? Don't pay them any attention... DJ's are just fine and just as elegant. And they will have all your guests dancing and having a great time. What a jerk!!! What did your friend say?? I would be horrified if my FH went off on my friend...he would never...but I would KILL him!!

I agree! He is classless for even saying that! i guess hes never gone to a wedding because almost every one i went to had a dj! Some people should just learn to keep there opinions to themselves! Sorry you had to deal with that! i know how it makes ya feel!
