I have to go into the city with FHs mom, aunt and cousin on monday. I love FMIL, but is aunt is LOUD and obnoxious, and says weird things, and his cousin, a girl, has not said more than 8 sentences to me in the 6 years we've been together (Shes a few years older than me)! They are going dress shopping for the wedding, and his aunt is supposedly SO excited that I have off of work and can come ( i just found out this morning) i feel bad but I am so uncomfortable around them. I am only going because what am I supposed to say--no I hate you and your daughter? I wish I had to work...

I would just go and let it all go...they are going to be your family!!! Everyone has embarassing people....I wish I could bar my aunt from coming....
maybe try starting a convo with the cousin...maybe shell open up!

ohhh i know how you feel! i know some people like that but in this situation it`s ur future family u don`t have much of a choice but to suck it up and go! and it sounds like they enjoy your companys o try and make the best of it! GL

Oh you poor thing.. maybe it won't be as bad as you think. I usually dread things like that but when the time comes, I end up having a better time than I expected.
