Ugh.....

Let me start with this: Since FH and I got engaged hes been very 'hands off' with the wedding planning. Whatever I wanted was good for him except the wedding location he wanted. So I've been very proactive with planning and getting everything sorted out including colors. Side note: We are having our reception at Vineyard Caterers.

With that said........So last night FH and I were looking through an invitation book that a woman at work had given me and he sees an invitation that has grapes on it and said that he really likes it and thinks we should do all grape themed things.

Really??? NOW you want a say in what we do since i've pretty much decided on colors!!!! He doesnt' seem to understand that now I have to change all the colors and everything. He thinks that hot pink and black(or green) will match all the vineyard-y (soo not a word) stuff that he now wants.

I'm just frustrated and needed to vent!!!! Thanks for listening girls!!

Hmm didn't you change your color to purple anyway? lol you poor thing you should def sit him down tonight and gently explain your frustrations i think it'll help

Men are clueless, they say 'do whatever you want to do' or 'it doesn't matter' then they all of a sudden get these wacky ideas and you are stuck trying to incorporate them into the wedding!!!!!!!!

Oh boy, they really don't get it do they?? If I were you I would tell him that you really wanted to do a pink and black/green theme but if he has his heart set on the grapes you will change it. Maybe he will feel bad and tell you to go with your original plan.

ETA- Maybe you could just do green grapes and then the pink and green theme will work? I dunno how it will look but I'm trying! Lol

Its not so much that I'm annoyed that I have to change anything...its not that big of a deal...I can go with other colors. My 4th(or something like that hahaha)choice was purple so I can do that. Its the fact that all of a sudden hes interested and I'm just frustrated haha. I'm glad that he wants an input...just wished he had felt that way 2 months ago.

Say 'ok, sure dear.. ' and do what you want haha.. He will probably forget haha.. Sometimes FH says things about what he wants then a week later I'll say, do you still want this for the wedding? and he's like 'I never said that, Idc'... MEN

well, at least he's involved now.

be happy FH is a major diva and wants everything and when I say no, he pouts like he's 5.

I did see that...it was actually the first wedding that I saw on here but was it all vineyard themed??? I'll have to ck it out again
