Ugh!

I had told my friend several months ago that if she wanted to borrow our cake box for the envelopes,she could. She never mentioned anything so I figured she didn't want it. Now her wedding is days away and I asked her what she is doing with the envelopes and she asked me for the cake box. I lent it to someone else last month for their wedding and now I don't know if they'll be able to get it back to me on such short notice. Now what do I do? The person who has it lives far.

Tell her you snooze you lose!

I feel bad but I honestly don't know if I can get it back on such short notice. I thought she didn't want to use it because she never said a word.
Now I'm totally stressed.

I called my friend who borrowed it and said that I would like to try to see if I can get it back in time for my other friend. I said to see what she can do.
I said I would meet her somewhere. If we can't do it, we can't do it. I don't feel right putting her out either on such short notice.
The thing is kind of big to Fed-ex.
