ugh annoying registry thing

ugh annoying registry thing

We are having a fiasco with my registry...

my full name is 'Jennifer'- almost NO ONE calls me that. Pretty much everyone calls me 'Jen'. However, there are a few that calls me 'Jennifer' from my family, and I guess my parents do sometimes.

IDK wt***f to do, bc if you put 'Jennifer' in I don't come up on BBB registries b./c I'm registered as 'Jen'

But not everyone calls me by either name so I don't know what name to put???

And BBB told my parents that I have one registry as Jen and one as Jennifer, but that isn't TRUE at all! I only have one as Jen!

Does anyone else have this issue?!?!

if they just put the first 2 letters of your first name theyll be able to search

would it make more sense for you to change your registry name to Jennifer? This way, anyone who puts in Jen will have you come up, as Jen is the first 3 letters anyways, and those who put in Jennifer will also get to you. Even if people never call you Jennifer, they might be inclined to think that your 'official' name would be on a registry (that would be my inclination!).
