ugh fh friend(vent)

I sent out the std in dec... well one of fh female friends ( which he doens't hang out with) sends him an e-mail saying why she didn't get one, and why wasn't she invited....so he tells her that we didn't send them to everyone, now he said we have to invite her.. im like no f-ing way, we've been together for 9 years, she hangs out with your friends not you, and when we do hang out with her, she doesn't say more them 2 words to me....i feel we don't need to invite her, and he wants to... I could see if she was friendly with me, grrrrrrrrrrr

p.s. am i wrong for feeling this way? i kind of feel like she's inviting her self

I don't blame you. I wouldn't let anyone invite themselves.

I dont think you are wrong, i wouldnt invite her. I still have an issue with people inviting themselves...WHY WHY WHY do they do this?

I agree with you 100% she barely speaks to you and weddings cost too much to be inviting a friend of a friend

You are not wrong. If she is just an acquaintance & not a true friend then I wouldn't feel bad at all for not inviting her. How immature are these people asking to be invited to weddings??? Who does that??

I agree with how you feel. If she wanted to know more about YOU and your Fh then she would have made time to get to know you. I would leave her off of the list. JMO of course!

What is wrong with people when it comes to weddings??? You are NOT wrong. Stand your ground and don't invite her. Why should you pay more for someone like that?

I can't understand why people have the nerve to invite themselves to a wedding. I could never imagine doing that! I have had this happen a few times...even an ex of mine contacted me out of the blue asking to be invited. That would never happen! I would not feel comfortable inviting a girl that FH hardly even sees or talks to either.
