UGH - FILS

I could vent about FIL's all day. we should set up a separate board just for that.. HAHA..

My problem this week is booking the rehearsal dinner. MY FH is supposed to talk to his parents, but of course he hasn't yet.

Haha - I could go on and on. I kind of wish it was my parents who were the pain in the a*s - at least them I can talk to and/or reason with. I am honestly starting to hate them for all the pain and stress they have caused me over the course of planning this wedding. Which isn't good - but it is what it is.

He has! Every week - he talks to them - and every week they reassure him they will get him the check by the weekend and 'not to worry'. I am starting to worry though!

Haha - I could go on and on. I kind of wish it was my parents who were the pain in the a*s - at least them I can talk to and/or reason with. I am honestly starting to hate them for all the pain and stress they have caused me over the course of planning this wedding. Which isn't good - but it is what it is.

Don't you feel like the FIL's are like the only one's giving you all this stress?? Seriously..

YES! All my friends keep telling me how they can't believe how calm I am about planning - ALL of my stress is caused by the FILs. They won't cut down on their guest list, they lecture us over and over about why they shouldn't have to cut down, they haven't given us 1 penny of the money they promised, they told us to get our silverware as an epresent and they would give us the $$$ and they would pay us back (but then they changed their mind after we bought it!), they have all these demands for the wedding but don't give me answers on any of my questions or any $$$ help to fund these demands AND they keep telling us how lucky we are to have parents/FILs like them. I kid thee not. It is enough to drive a person mad!

At least it is nice to know I am not the only one with pain in the butt ILs After July it will be SO nice - cause I won't need ANYTHING from them - no guest list, no promised $$$, no lectures. I can't wait!

The one thing about the promised money-- My FH told his parents not to give us anything until after the wedding. This way, it would limit the say they had in the wedding. AND< it will be a wedding gift!! My FIL's told us were were having a 'bare bones' wedding cause we cut so many people from her list.. Our list is at 245 people right now. Definitely not bare bones right? Her side is 100 people alone!! AAAAHHAHA.. Suz, FM me if you like we could talk about this ALL DAY!
