Ugh, got jury duty

Ugh, got jury duty

I got jury duty. The problem is that I'm moving soon. Do you think I'll still have to serve even though I'm moving?

I dont think so if you tell them when you go, and you can always ask for a postponement..

If you haven't already postponed it, you can once. After that, you will be moved so you are no longer a resident of the county, then you don't have to serve.

I just got called a few weeks ago, and I went, and got dismissed that day...I did my duty, can't be called again for 3 years.

The thing about a postponement is that they can call you again in 6 months.

I guess it all depends on how soon you are moving.
