bring yogurt and cereal bar for breakfast from home. then i spend between $4 and $6 on lunch. and yes, i work in the financial district downtown so i still have to deal w city prices. usually go to subway or a salad bar or the building cafeteria.

I usually bring both to work.

If I don't bring lunch, then Subway is the cheapest option...thank god it's also healthy, if you know what you're doing there.

Breakfast...I pretty much always bring. If I don't, then I know my willpower will waver and I'll get a bagel, which isn't any good for me.

if i don't watch it i can wind up spending $12 for just 1 meal.

i have been super strict with my food spending. i only treat myself to breakfast & lunch once a week, i bring food every other day.

If I buy, it's usually like $8-10 per day.

I can't even figure out how much it is if I bring b/c the groceries usually last for like two weeks.
