ugh- I have to fill out one of those employee self-apprasials
And I have no idea what my goals should be for 2004, being that I hate my job and it's so boring. These forms are great as a means to open communication between you and your boss, but I really have nothing to say other than I want a new job!!!!

You must work for my company. I wish I could just write on those stupid things that I want a new job, preferably not with this company and that I want to make alot more money than I do now...

I just did mine last month. I generally have the same ones every year and just tweek them a little. There is always room for improvment no matter what the possition.
Think about what you achieved this year and think of areas you'd like to focus for this year? what do you do? Mamangment skills customer service supervisory skills increase revenue etc...

I like those things. I just filled out mine, and basically created a new position within the company with a job description that fits the multitude of functions I cover and best of all, it gives them a way to promote me from an assistant manager to a manager's position without my waiting to take over my bosses position (she's not going anywhere and I don't want her to - she's great!).
Now I just need to see if they take me up on the direction I've laid out!

Tell them you think you have done an awesome job and that you need a fat raise!! I think it's stupid that 'I' have to assess myself! Just one more thing my manager doesn't have to do-can they push back any more on the employees?
