Ugh, I have to tell somebody!

Ladies, I think I just found out when my shower date is!!

FSIL was holding her planner and we were coordinating graduation dates (we're graduating with our Masters a few days apart) to see if I can come to hers since it's during the week and I glanced at the calendar and I think I saw 'Nicole's Shower'.

I'm so devastated because my mom has been doing so well keeping it a surprise and being in the wrong place at the wrong time just ruined everything! I can't tell her (or anyone) because they would be so devastated. And it totally wasn't FSIL's fault, I just should've stood further away. I'm just so bummed that I'll have to act surprised than actually be surprised. I hope I was only seeing things!!

Sorry for the long vent but this is something I can't exactly talk to my mom about since it will crush her! Thanks ladies!!

awww hun i totally understand what you are feeling i recently found out my shower is 4/18 in howard beach noonish

the bm's got into a dissagreement and one of them called me to rant and totally told me everything

so i too am crushed we could practice our suprised faces together

Awww, sorry you found out. Just try and act really surprised when you get to the shower.

I had two friends getting married around the same time and I switched their names on my calendar for their shower dates just in case they saw inside my date book. So maybe its something like that and she is throwing you off.

I totally get that folks want to be surprised but I would try to focus on the fact that everyone is still trying to do something awesome for you and that part is more important. ..at first I wanted to be surprised but I actually had to PICK my shower date to make sure I could be there!! and I'm going to still have as much fun!!! (and please no I am not trying to say you shouldn't be upset - i get it but just trying to put a spin on it
