Ugh, I know you girls hate reading this stuff..

I keep searching on here for wording. It's not that I need wording for the invites, I guess I am just confused.


If on the invitation, I am going to put the ceremony location and info. Where do I put the Reception info?

I saw some girls put it at the bottom of the invites. I am doing my own inviations, so I didn't purchase reception cards. Can I put on the bottom 'Cocktail hour to follow at Dantes at 7:00 '?

What do I do?

yeah most invitations theres a separate reception card and thats where the info goes.

But if youre not going to use a reception card, i guess you can put dinner and dancing at Dante's and the start time. But will you also have room for the address? usually the address is on there too. Are you doing direction cards? if so then maybe just put the location on the invite since the address will be on the direction cards

you're welcome. I am sure there are others who will insist you do it on a reception card but if you didnt get them and dont want to then honestly guests will be fine with seeing it on the bottom of an invite. Not like they'll sit there and say 'OMG how dare she put info for reception on here' if they do then they have issues

Seriously, it's not like people aren't going to throw the invite away anyway. I didn't want to spend alot of money on them to begin with, so I just picked them up to do them myself. Right now, as I am trying to print them and getting frustrated b/c there isn't a decent WORD program on this computer , I am rethinking that.

I will just add the reception info on the bottom. The directions and address is on the direction cards!

yeah dont drive yourself crazy. I agree with sticking to etiquette when it comes to how guests are treated and things like that but i think ive seen it done this way too before.

Sounds good, they have the info they need for RH on the directions
