I was looking at my FH's myspace page, and in the comments I wrote something like 'As the woman you're going to marry in 5 months, I should leave a message. Hi', and one of the GMs wrote 'If there is a 'wedding', lol. There's 5 months to put a halt on it.' I really hope he's kidding! Of all of FH's friends, I think he may like me the least, but my FH always says he likes me if I comment that I think he doesn't.

They are just trying to get a rise out of you.

Don't fall for it. They are just being typical immature boys....and they are just jealous of you right now. Don't worry about them

I told FH I saw the comments, and he says of course he's kidding. Still, guys S U C K!

I agree. Guys are like taught from birth to act like marriage is the worst thing ever (hence the ball and chain analogy). He is an insensitive boy - I am sure he was just trying to be cool. Ignore him - what matters is that your FH wants to marry you.

ETA: FBIL constantly 'ribs' FH telling him that I must have suckered him into proposing - since we were together for a while. Ugh - it is like a foreign concept to him that people get engaged and married cause they love each other and want to be together forever.
