Ugh, it never ends does it!

I am sure that you are all aware that I have ben sick on and off for the passed couple of weeks.

Well, today I was diagnosed with bacterial walking pneumonia. So that would explain why all the cold and flu medication wasn't working.

The really bad news is that it's highly contagious allegedly. While that s good because I don't have to go to work the rest of the week. The bad thing is my shower is on saturday, so please pray that my cough is gone by then.

even if your cough isn't entirely gone by saturday, you will have been on antibiotics for 4 days, so you shouldn't be too contagious as long as you don't cough in anyone's face or anything

Cuban, what were your symptoms? I ask because I have also been getting sick lately (care to guess if the wedding is stressing us?) and last month I had an upper respiratory infection...fine, treated and gone. Then on Friday, out of nowhere, I wake up with NO VOICE and my chest has all this congestion and I have this ridiculous cough...I was barely able to talk until today (refused to go to the Dr.) and now I'm a little worried.

oh boy..i do hope you feel better by the weekend..rest up and drink plenty of H2O..my saying has always been 'the solution to pollution is dilution '

Me too, I never get sick and I woke up last friday a little congested and then sat morning my left eye was swollen , I woke up and screamed, I couldnt open my eye it was stuck together, today I feel better but still have a nasal thing going on, sneezing like crazy and my left eye all though its not swollen it keeps watering like crazy- must be a sinus infection- I think we are stressed! maybe I will go to doc if not over by friday- i think my surprise shower is this sunday. FEEL BETTER to you both!!!

i had pneumonia about a year and half ago...are you on antiobiotics? i also needed to take mucinex to break it all up. it worked. feel better!!

Oh hun, I had walking pneumonia when I was in 5th grade. It was awful. I am so sorry that you don't feel well.

For those who are ill, here are the most popular symtoms. I, unfortunately, have had all of that at some point within the past 2-3 weeks.

-Headache
-Fever (may be high)
-Chills
-Excessive sweating
-Cough, Usually dry and Usually without phlegm or blood
-Chest pain
-Sore throat

Basically, if you seem to have a cold that gets better, then worse, then better, then worse, you should it out with your doctor ASAP.
