I can't take it. I haven't spoken with her in a week or two. Since I've been back in school I'm NEVER home and she hasn't called me either. I spoke to her online the other day and she was in a bad mood and didn't want to talk, today she's in a bad mood (about a guy, of course), and we were talking about our mutual friend and I said 'I haven't spoken to him since we hung out that night a few weeks ago. I don't really speak to him' and then all of a sudden she starts in on me that I never make any effort either and I never call her, but I miraculously find hours to talk to my FH and blah blah. And I told her it's been a really crazy horribe year, and she said it was before that and I never make any effort and blah blah.
It's true I don't call her a lot, but I just think she's taking her mood out on me
ETA: Sorry I don;t know what the point of this thread it...I'm just venting

I've had these convo's before. Part of it is your friend's jealousy that you have a constant in your life and that is your FH - plus wedding plans can take up a bit of time, but friends should realize that. Give her time to cool down and then try to get together with her to smooth things out.

Not for nothing, but being that you are getting married she should be calling you and seeing how your wedding plans are going, etc...it is your friends turn to focus on you a little. I agree, she is just jealous partially because you are getting married, but also b/c she has no one serious in her life right now...She will cool off..

It sounds like she doesnt call you a lot either and is probably jealous that you have a serious relationship and is getting married and she is trying to turn the blame on you. Sounds like she is trying to make excuses not to talk to you because of jealousy.

I agree ... its really a jealousy and envy issue. In some ways she is happy for you and your FH yet at the same time she is probably wishing it was her. Which is probably why she hasn't been calling you because it is hard for her to get excited about your plans when she wishes they were her own.
Give her time to cool off and maybe reassure her that you love and care for and that she is important part of life and you would like her to be more involved in what is going on with you.
