Ugh my poor little niece/Jr BM

Yesterday we were at my sister's pool, and she was going around the deck, when her little sister (FG) was squirting her from the pool with the water gun. Taylor moved to get out of the way, fell off the deck- which wasn't so far. We thought she was fine. But she kept complaining about this 'weird feeling' in her foot.
We all thought it was fine- after all, she wasn't squirming in pain or feeling anything truly awful.
Well, as a precaution, they took her to the emergency room today. They took x-rays and don't see anything- but they wrapped her up and put her on crutches as a precaution. They want her to see an orthopedist...something about the growth plate. There are things the hospital doctor's can't see.

I was there when she fell....and I just thought she was being Taylor, wanting attention or what not. I just figured if she wasn't in too much pain, she was okay.
And they were supposed to leave for vacation today. She was so looking forward to it, counting down the days. And now she's worried about being in a cast for the wedding! I just keep thinking- the time her little sister broke her leg, she wasn't screaming in pain either! And then she needed a cast.![]()
And I feel HORRIBLE because my sister needs this vacation more than anybody!! Hopefully they can go if it's not so bad...but she doesn't want Taylor watching everyone running around while she's stuck in a cast.![]()
