ugh no more hospitals please!
okay so i posted yesterday how FMIL twisted her back...
well yesterday afternoon around 4:30 pm, (i was out with my BFF getting ready to go try on the gown and take it home and blah blah blah) .... i get a phone call from FH...here's how it went.
FH: WHERE ARE YOU?
Me: Lane Bryant, why?
FH: Do you have an extra set of keys to your car?
Me: Yeah, why?
FH: I need to move your car, the ambulance has to get in the driveway.
Me: AMBULANCE???
FH: Mommy's going to the hospital.
okay... so i'll stop there... to tell you that yes, i was being a little selfish... BUT... i had asked her RIGHT before I left if she wanted to go to the hospital, and she said no, she was fine...FH neglected to tell me that she twisted it again... so I said okay, well i'm gonna go to davids and i'll call you later.
so FH got super mad at me... but had i known she was in excruciating pain, i obvi wouldve dropped everything and come running home.
long and drawn out story short... FMIL is home, with an Dx of a badly pulled muscle in her back, and an Rx for Vicodin and a muscle relaxer. Hopefully she'll feel better within the next couple of days.
I felt like a big a.s.s.c.l.o.w.n. for not realizing that FH didnt have his head on straight and that i shouldve figured it out.... but let's face it...we all have our stupid moments.
