Ugh! Our one cat................

He is such a pig! He is constantly eating. I try not to give them too much food but the poor little guy's got to eat. When the little cat goes to eat, the big cat stands on top of him to get to the food and of course the little one then goes away.

Can you seperate them so he can get some food without being stepped on??

The only thing I could try to do would be to close the door when the little one wants to eat.But cats come and go as they please and decide to eat whenever they want. For the big cat, that is all day. For the little guy, its just when he's hungry. Supposedly they are brothers but the huge cat weighs 20 lbs and the little guy is only 10.

I give him Pounce snacks every day. I think thats where he gets his nutrition from.
The big cat doesn't like Pounce. What a miracle! Something he doesn't eat.

Wow.. poor little kitty.
10lbs is moderate weight 20lb is a big boy.

I dont know if this helps but my kitty learned to be on a timed basis for eating mostly because I only fed him when I was home and so he couldnt eat all day. You might have to try that and work it out so they are fed in different places.

Protect that poor little guy's food.
