UGH-Picture location problem

We have posted before about looking for a good indoor picture spot since it will be getting dark when we come out of church. We had decided that we were going straight to the Milleridge and would take pics there. Seems a wedding has booked before mine so we can't go there till 6:30.

Where am I going to take pictures?

Re: UGH-Picture location problem

You know what? Outdoor night pictures can be just as beautiful if not moreso than daytime! If your photographer knows what he's doing...which I'm certain he does, he will use the natural lighting to his advantage and you could have some of the most romantic pictures of the two of you, and very dramatic family and bridal party pics! My sister had to take pics outside at night, and the bridal party picture is amazing! They took it in Brooklyn's Canonball Park, with just the lights from the Verazzano Bridge....they are AMAZING!

You can always go to a public park with well lit grounds, there are a few in the Merrick area not far from the Coral House that have bridges etc. There must be a ton in Woodbury also, ask your hall if they have off site photo location lists, or any advice as to where to go, they have probably had this problem before.

No worries!!

Reception starts at 7:00. I am using VIP studios. He works out of house. What annoys me is that they aren't being helpful with a location.

Is the Milleridge in Nassau or Suffolk?
I heard Westbury Gardens has indoor photo ops also, and I'm sure they are well-lit.
