i agree.. if its not someone super close with you, then they shouldnt say anything hehe. its one thing to say you look tired but another to say u look like uve been thru the mill

If this isn't a close friend I'd be slightly insulted. Granted they are probably right but it's still not a nice thing to say.

omg I hate when people do that! My coworkers are notorious for saying things like, wow..you look exhausted...or geez Amy, you're too skinny, you look ill.
FYI. I weigh 135-139 lbs. I'm not wayy too skinny.
Ignore them. I bet you look just fine :)

Lol, the only makeup I wear everyday is eyeliner. Whenever I DON'T someone always has that sympathetic face and go 'awww, didn't get much sleep last night?'

Seems like I'm the odd duck out here - I tend to shrug those sorts of comments off and I'm sure it wasn't said to be mean/insulting. Besides, as you pointed out the co-worker was male, they tend to lack shut-up filters.
