Ugh, too laid back???

Ugh, too laid back???

My stupid co-worker is getting to me. She commented that I am too laid back of a bride and things aren't going to look good. ***?!

I'm actually pretty anal about all of this wedding crap. But when it comes to the bridal party, I want them to feel good and like themselves. The girls are wearing navy j crew dresses, the guys are wearing their own grey suits, with white shirts and ties we'll purchase for them.

I think the slightly ecclectic look will work. Apparently my co-worker disagrees.

I think it's gonna look great too...Let other people have their opinions, it's YOUR wedding so do what you want...

That's funny,...I don't remember reading that you asked for her comments....tell her to mind it until you ask for her opinion.....

I think you're fine. I'm going to try and be lax with my BP too because I don't want them stressing or anything. Some people don't realize that it's important to try and keep people comfortable and then they pass judgment.

um how about when she gets married she can be a crazy bridezilla gorilla woman, but in the meantime youre the bride at your wedding which actually doesnt include her opinions

I don't agree with what your co-worker is saying.

BUT I have to say, personally, I would not be TOO laid back with the bridal party.
I have been in bridal parties and when the bride didn't care and was too lax, the bridesmaids took SUCH advantage of her.

Thats exactly what I'm going through here! I just politely nod and smile and say thank you for the advice (even though I never asked for it or wanted it!) but I totally ignore everything that was said. Let them deal with this when they plan their own wedding!

Seriously, don't take it personally. It sounds really really nice and well coordinated. Things don't have to be perfect. You'll be happy knowing that everyone is comfortable.

Shes just jealous Don't let the haters get to you!

It is YOUR wedding! Not her's!! First, I think it will look great. You need to do what makes you happy and I think ti sis nice to be a considerate bride!

I too am doing Navy dresses ( not yet picked out though) and my FH wants gray tuxes. Not going to lie, I want black but we have time yet for that discussion.
