Re: UGH!!!--vent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did I miss something? why on earth are you allowing this women to control you and your plans this way? Only you can allow this type of treatment. How did she force you to book a band you didn't want? You and your FH once again allowed her to sway your decisioon or annoy you into it- again all within your own control.
Call the salon asap! Tell them that there was a misunderstanding with one of your BMs and that you want ALL of your appointments back the way they were. Also, as the bride remind them that NO ONE but you can change or cancel your appointments.
Right after that you must have your FH get involved. He should call this women (his family, right?) and tell her that she is to stay out of all wedding plans. He needs to make it very, very clear that this is NOT her wedding and you will NOT tolerate any further involvement. And he can even give her a choice- enjoy the wedding day that you are planning or stay home.
In regards to comments that are just plain rude and anti-semetic- do you tell her 'DO NOT speak that way to me or my family'? Do not allow it. When and if she makes a comment, no matter where you are, turn to her and say 'I will not allow you to make such anti-semetic comments to me anymore. I will not have someone like you around me or my family' and walk away. It isn't hard to stand up for yourself. But this is not something you should crying over- you need to act and stop this at once.
