ugh! why are invites so expensive!

how much is everyone paying for their set, and if you can tell me what print process too that would be great. I'm looking at between 8 and 10 per set! I do not want to spend that much! ugh!

I paid about 3.50, but i'm printing them myself. I got them on invitesite.com

$4.80 per set and that including addressing them

What are you looking for? $8-$10 seems like a good chunk of change.

You can go to paper presentation in the city. They do letter press for a decent price.

I thought I would save money by DYI.. turns out I spent WAY more than I expected. I am not even sure how much per invite... I need to figure that out !!!Oh well.. I went overboard!

me too! I am also a designer but it seems it doens't save any money by designing them yourself

I KNOW! Sometimes I think being a designer makes it worse LOL

I did get great prices on printing through smartpress.com Try them!! Good quality too... pics in my album of my invites!

I paid $725 for 120 Pocketfold shimmer paper with added bling, return address, and 2 inserts - they are awesome!

Went to J & D in merrick, vendor on here -

I was gonna try and put my graphic design skills to use and do my own invites too, lol...now I'm scared!

you might want to try 48hourprint.com....they might not have conventional wedding sizes and everything...but they are super cheap and the stuff we get from there (I use them at work, and I've tried a few places) is very high quality. That's who I plan to use

You should contact Cathy from An Invitation Sensation (she's a vendor here). Not only did she give me fantastic prices, but she's an absolute pleasure to work with. There are no phony put-ons; She's just genuine likeable.

I made my own - came out to be about $120 with paper & envelopes for 100 invitations, rsvp cards & accommodation cards

i went overboard on invites $13.50 an invitation. but i made up for by going cheap on other things.
