Ugh - why isn't anyone Cheery?

Ugh - why isn't anyone Cheery?

Am I a freak that I am usually happy and cheery around this holiday season? The lights, the music, wrapping presents, the anticipation of my friend's/family's faces when they open their presents - I love it! But everyone I talk to at work or when shopping is so freakin grumpy and rude and mean. It is such a downer!

OK - vent over.

I am usually happy and cheery as well. I think part of the reason why a lot of people aren't in the holiday spirit is because it hasn't sunk in that Christmas is this weekend. This year has gone extremely quick!!!

I found a little of my spirit on Saturday when I spent 2 1/2 hrs in the hair salon (she overbooked) and had to listen to Lite FM the whole time.

Im guilty of not being in a cheery holiday mood. I think its a combo of not being able to spend alot of money on gifts.. to work.. to wedding planning... Everything all in one.. its very stressful. But Im trying.. Im almost done ith my shopping.. I sing Christmas songs in my car.. and my tree is up & *twinkling*

I am happy!!! I listen to nothing but Christmas song radio!!!

I totaly tune out the grumps that do nothing but complain about the holidays, because I feel bad for them. As you get older, you have to work harder to keep yourself young. It is too easy to fall into the routine of complaining about things you have to do, instead of realize the good reasons behind why you do them.
Grown ups are bummers.

I'm cheery! I finished all my shopping and wrapping (waiting on one gift in the mail), and I've started my holiday baking I'm not into Christmas music, but our tree is up and I'm so ready for Christmas!!

I'm cheery too! I just can't wait for work to be over this week so it will be xmas already! I have noticed that people just don't seem in the spirit as much as usual this year...what's up with that?

I'm so excited to have my first engaged christmas! (Especially since I peeked at my registry and a lot is off of it!!! Gosh, I think I'm shallow )

I'm usually so happy around this time but for some reason I'm in a bit of a funk. I guess it's just a bunch of little things and I'm sure I'll snap out of it - hopefully soon

Yey - some cheeriness! You know, I don't even need everyone to be blatantly cheery, I just wish they wouldn't be ruder than normal!

I'm excited for the holidays - I get Monday off too - added bonus!

I love the Fridays restaraunt where Jennifer /aniston has to wear 15 pieces of flare - and then she sticks up the finger to show everyone and says - here - heres your flare...
