UGH Work Vent

I'm getting so frustrated with the admin here!!! Not the brightest bulb on the tree would be an understatement...but simple tasks that even the most base of creatures can complete she can not/will not!

Like if someone needs to be removed from the mailing list...which is a matter of asking, what's your catalog code? And writing it down...she pages me saying someone needs to be removed. Or if someone needs a sample, and it's a matter of writing down their name, address, phone/fax/email and the item number...I get paged to do it.

Isn't that what secretaries are supposed to do? Take info? Instead, it gets forwarded to marketing, because I'm not putting together a catalog completely by myself or anything.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

Once again, I will refer to my new favorite movie, Tropic Thunder.

A nut-less monkey can do your job. No, seriously. A nut-less monkey.

I totally feel your pain. I'm in the same boat as you today... everyone is asking for the stupidest thing...Like this morning, like every Monday morning I need to re-start all the servers... sure enough NOW I have to make an annoucement b/c people complained...but anyways, I make the annoucement that I will be restarting the servers so please save your work. Sure enough everyone starts turning off their computers. I'm like, I do this every Mon, and you don't turn your computers off...why are you doing it now? They just looked at me like, I thought we had to. Did I ask for you to shut your computers down? B/c then when I restart my server, it'll have issues connecting to somce computers...is that soo hard...? Just make sure you save and then keep doing what your doing...

Hang in there...the day is ALMOST over...Just to do it allll over again tomorrow LOL

Ugh I feel your pain I have one of those in my office too! Lazy is what they are!

I can relate... There are admins in my office that are just AIR HEADS!!! Simple things cannot get accomplished without consulting with a manager first!! Its does get annoying especially when you're trying to finish your own work..

Too much!!

They should consult a manager if they didnt ask questions they would screw it up and get there a** chewed.

I used to be an admin before my degree and what you guys are saying you sound like straight a**holes. They have bad days too and im sure get under paid.
