I have to buy my mom a bday present. She's the hardest person to shop for EVER.
She doesn't get her nails done or go to spas.
Her and my mother don't like to go out to dinner or shows or movies (they're big homebodies) or go on mini-vacations.
She doesn't wear jewelry.
She's diabetic so I cant get her sweets or candy.
She doesnt like flowers.
Every year I want to throw my head agianst a wall. She's impossible!!
Please, does anyone have any cute suggestions? She's really laid-back...a really mommy. She runs her own daycare, stays at home alot. I'm desperate!! I was thinking maybe something from things remembered.. Other suggestions are welcome!

what about one of those foot spas or a heating pad or a massage pad that goes onto a chair = if she runs a day care, im sure she is beat by the end of the day...
you could get her a gift card to peapod or target or amazon = something practical. if she doesn't go out to dinner, you could buy her groceries for a week.
what about a channa plaque or something for around her home...
or a subscription to netflix or HBO on demand for a month or something..
and im out of ideas... good luck!

You know..she doesnt carry around bags (she wears a FANNY PACK..no joke. she'll probably wear one on the day of the wedding). I might get her one of those coach swingpacks tho. She likes her hands to be free cuz she's always chasing kids around.

Amazing Clubs has some nice monthly club memberships. They have ones for coffee, dinner & a movie, hot sauces, etc. You can choose 3 month, 6 month or 12 month memberships.

oh im def. buying her a bag for the weddng even if she never uses it again. she likes to torture me though and threatens to wear it.

its my moms bday too on the 19th and she sounds very similiar to yours. im getting my mom a camera, not super expensive at all. she still uses the throw away ones and was saying how she would love to not use that at my wedding.
even though your mom doesnt go out too much, a camera will come in handy for your wedding and always down the road for holidyas, birthdays, etc.
or would she appreciate any types of supplies to run her daycare?
something for the house? a new appliance
some nice new summery clothes?
eta: does she like oldies music or nething like that. maybe one of those cd collections of oldies or music she might listen to back in the day.

Get her one of the precious moments statues - they have very cute mother daughter ones. I started that because I couldnt think of anything else and now its a tradition so I dont have to worry about what to get her anymore
