UGHHHH FMIL VENT!!!!

FH and I live with FMIL & FFIL--- i cant take her--- shes constantly on top of us, its like i cant breath
FH and I fight about nothing else but them
nothing

it drives me nuts
i cant take it anymore
its like shes constantly there, she never backs up, im suffocating and i cant take the argueinggg

worst part is, is i guess hes so used to the bs that he doesnt notice its crazy

i feel crazy
im so angry
im so frustrated
ive soo had it

vent over :(

its just- i cant handle it- and hes so used to it--- i jsut cant live like this
and i dont know how to make this go away and create a lot of space

How long do you plan on living with them? That is a really tough situation. Do you guys have like a little apartment area within the house or does everyone share everything...example bathroom, kitchen, livingroom, etc.?

I feel your pain! Me and my FH live in a seperate apartment above his parents house. When we decided we wanted to move in together his parents were very upset we were leaving sooooo they built us an apartment above them! lol Now b/c he is the baby his mom is attached to him! I hate being soooo close to where everytime he has off he wants to go see his mom! Unlike your FMIL my FMIL just talks behind my back to him and doesnt speak to me! It doesnt phase me but I feel so sorry for you to have to deal with the bs while planning a wedding! Its added stress you definitely dont need!

I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I think a lot of us are in the same situation. I don't know why they can be so difficult. Don't they want their sons to be happy? Hang in there and remember it's about you and your FH. Hopefully you won't have to live there to much longer.

I am so sorry that you are going through this, but I can relate!!!!!!! FH is mother is the top reason that we both have lost our minds and are feeling stressed!!!!!!!!!

:( i'm so sorry. FMIL has been driving for a while esp with this wedding. She is very hands on and has a bunch of opinions that she loved to express to my FH and he tends to agree with her, even though I dont. for example. She volunteered to pay for the DJ, since she has a special relationship with this one company that she used for her 30th anniversary. I said fine, since I thought the DJ was pretty good. Recently she told FH that she wants to pay for the photographer but only if he is the same comapny as the DJ (like a package deal) and I said no to my FH since I cant stand the photographer. FH and I got into a huge argument because he doesnt understand why I dont want to use that photographer and I explained to him that this isnt a gift from his mom, more like a loaded gift with strings attached and also a way for her to control the wedding!

FMIL are truly 'lovely' women but mostly to their sons!! We, the future wives, are almost like a threat to their mother-son relationship and they still try to control that relationship at any cost.
Just try to stay calm, dont let her get to you, vent when you have to and remind your FH everyday that he is marrying you, not his mom, and that you need all his attention and to keep his mom in 'check' Good luck :( and after the wedding, MOVE OUT!
