I have a freakin cold!!! I never get sick and now 4 days before my vacation, I have this horrible cold. I am dealing with it but I can't take it when my ears clog up. I have tried yawning, chewing gum.. stretching my mouth from Manhattan to Queens.. it's not working!!!

Claritn or other antihistimine usually clears mine up in a couple of days.

NOSE SPRAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may sound crazy but recently this happened to me. I didn't even have a cold but apparently had congestion in my ears. He gave me nose spray and it cleared right up.

Hold your nose and cover your mouth and blow out. I don't know if I'm describing it correctly - sounds silly now that I'm reading it but it works for me!

Now for your cold. This is what makes me feel better in a few days only..... Take 1 Zinc pill a day after one of your meals, with a full glass of water
Take 3 Echinicia after each meal 3 times a day
And take 1 vitamin C a day.
I usually feel better within 3 days. Drink plenty of water, and fluids.....Eat fruit....

Be careful you can pop your eardrums this way!!! Then you have pain on top of being clogged up.

I had to go to the ENT last time and he blew air in my ear and I was cured!
