I just want it to stop raining... The Storm ripped the roof shingles off the back of my house in a few spots yesterday. In some spots down to the wood... its leaking in my attic Please stop raining!!!!
On top of that the people that live behind us have a rickety old fence that fell onto ours, and made ours fall too! I guess its time to meet the neighbors !

I'll prob post the pic in a sec (gotta upload) but when we were driving to the RH today in Massapequa it was a mess there! Trees uprooted, fallen branches everywhere, and we seriously drove through a river in the middle of Merrick Road. It was crazy!
Ughhhh tell me about it. We still don't have power and a wooden pole in front of my house that has power lines snapped in half!!! So there are power cords with broken pole all over the street in front of my house. Also, a bunch of huge trees near where I live fell down AND yesterday we had to evacuate our house because there was a nearby gas leak and the firemen said that it wasn't safe to stay in the house. So we basically stood outside in the rain for about 1.5 hours and then one of our neighbors who didn't have to evacuate were nice enough to let us in their house. It was crazy! I doubt we will have power before Tuesday because they need to fix the broken pole. I'm at FH's now so that's how I have power. I am so over this storm and want it to be sunny again.

I know right! I was afraid if I opened the door the water would rush in LOL It was just unreal. Some poor lady on the other side of the road stalled out and had to get out and was kneee deep in this water trying to push her car out... I felt so bad!!

Bad Rain... I still dont have power at my house... It has been out now for 2 days =( I am sleepin at my Fh room tonight bc it is TOO cold at my room!

Thats where I live!! South of Merrick Rd In Massapequa.. now you know my pain... We have plastic down and 3495384940583490534 pans catching the water... I dont even know what to do at this point.. I called my insurance company but I feel like we need to get a roofing company ASAP. Anyone know how fast the insurance people come to see it??
