Estee Lauder is cutting a sh*tload of jobs and budgets and we just have to sit here with our thumbs up our asses waiting for the trickle down effect to hit us (I handle a large bulk of their printing).
Hoping its not too bad....we shall see. I thought i was safe for a minute.

OMG I am in the SAME boat! just got an email from our VP. In a nut shell he wants me to send him a weekly report detailing what my staff does daily ....
TRANSLATION: he wants to see who is expendable and I may just be included ...... I am having an anxiety attack!!!!!
What can we do?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! I actually just left my Lauder position after 3 years to do my student teaching. (Teachers will be cut also) I had no idea Lauder would be doing this! Crazy news!!! I hope your position is okay.

I dont work for them. I work for a vendor who does a lot of their printing. I just hope they dont do too much budget cutting

Awww sorry to hear that!!! Don't get too worried because mentally you have to be ready for whatever... You won't be the first or last and everyone else is making it through.. FH me if you want to discuss how I overcame FH getting laid off..
