and I'm scared...I hate the dentist SOOOO much. I'm having 2 teeth pulled...one is the wisdom tooth all the way in the back top of my mouth...I hope this gets done quick and I don't feel it at all...I believe they're going to put me under.
I highly advise being put under...I had 2 done under and 2 done without...and the latter was such a hideous experience for me...
one thing i will tell you that works...is get a fribble when you are done...its cooling and allows you to eat something...a nurse suggested it to me...and it really worked wonders

Its not as bad as it seems. i was knocked out when i had 2 wisdom teeth taken out in March. You'll be fine you wont hear/feel a thing while they are doing it. just make sure you have pain killers readily available.

Good luck ! I had 1 wisdom tooth out, and was up for it, it was not too bad after getting a lot of novacaine and sweet air, I then had shakes, and applesauce also egg drop soup. I have to get another one out.. I am not looking forward to it. Hugs to you, I hope it went okay!

Have them put you out. I had 2 wisdom teeth removed over a year ago & was out TG. I would hate to have to go through that awake.

in total, I've had 19 teeth pulled out....and i was out cold for all three surgeries (1st - 4 teeth, 2nd - 11 teeth, 3rd - 4 teeth)
i never even tried it without being fast asleep!!!
but the recovery is relatively quick - so don't worry about it!!

i advise being put out, fiance LOVED it, he woke up wondering when they were going to start and it was all over! make sure you fill the pain prescription, youll probably need it

I had 3 wisdom removed in April and I wasn't put out. It really wasn't too bad, but because I had all 3 taken out at the same time, I couldn't eat for a whole week! I dined on soup, jello, pudding, shakes. I did lose 5 pounds, though.
Tell us how it went for you. How are you feeling now?

OMG...thank god that's over! I was not put under...he told me he'd do it so fast I'd never even know...and he gave me 4 shots of novacaine...but it was pretty bad with the digging and pulling...I will never do that again unless I'm under...I think I'm a bit traumatized.
FH did get me a chocolate shake...yummy!!! And another 2 scoops of ice cream which is still in my freezer...I'm going to eat that soon!
