Ok so I am not one of those girls who alwasy dreamed of my wedding and im DEF not a girlie girl. I dont wear make up, dont own a dress, etc.
I look at these beautiful dresses you all post and while they are georgeous, I know they are not me....
I found a dress I like online, (had to phot shop a little since its not the right default color) but I want an honest opinion.....
Is this tacky?

If thats the style that you like then go for it...All of us have different tastes and ideas of what we want our wedding dress to be. There are alot of girls who have had colors on their dress and they looked beautiful!! I personally like all white dresses (partially bc i am a bit superstitious and feel that i would jinx myself by having color on my dress...) but thats just my taste...

nope dresses with color are pretty common. I'm pretty sure a 2010 girl has a dress very similiar if not the same one.

Not ugly at all! I would also like to incorporate my color is my dress maybe not as much as your dress shown but similar...I think you always should go with what YOU want... YOU are the bride

ITA... if you want your wedding to be different this is a great way to do it! i dont think its tacky, it all depends on ur personality.... im also really supersitious about this as well but ive seen plenty of dresses that incorporate color into their gown in this kind of tasteful way.... ALSO the color is BLUE, it can be your 'something blue!' which symbolizes purity, love, and fidelity.... go for it!

I think it is a beautiful dress especially with the color you picked. I am too timid to do color on a dress, but I don't think it's tacky or ugly at all. Go for it!

But if done right, fitting into the whole wedding.... this wouldnt be offensive?
Im superstitious in the other way. The 'white' dress was to be a symbol of purity and vir*inity and well.... oopps

I think its very princess-like. I think its pretty. Def. try it on. I heard of brides wearing pinks and reds on their weddings too.

if i was you i would just go to a large bridal store and start trying on different dresses....like different shapes, different materials, different cuts, different shades of white/ivory. def try this dress on. u'll either hate it or love and it and u'll know in a matter of minutes.

i do not think that dress is ugly. alot of girls wear color now. there is a 2010 girl who i think bought one in green and white?? its not that uncommon. me pesonally...i am doing all white but if i went to a wedding where the bride had some color i would think its nice and different

I apprecitae honestly so dont feel bad.
I know its not everyones style, thats kind of why I like it. Im not a traditionalist. The vision in my head (which who knows if it will work out) has a dress like this fitting in perfectly.
What do you mean Heavy? It doesnt look as if there is much on the dress.....

the dress was very poofy without a slip and the train felt like it was dragging me down. now Im a tiny person so that may have caused it but the dress itself felt like it weighed 20 lbs
