So my BM dresses were supposed to be in the first week of January. Well that didn't happen so I inquired today when I might expect them to be in, and I was told that the status was unknown, and a manager would call me later in the week to let me know said status. So then I asked, what happens if the dresses don't come in on time? I was looking for reassurance - but no, the girl got all defensive and said 'Hey - I'm just the messenger!' So I asked - so that happens sometimes then, that the dresses don't come in on time? And the girl says sheepishly 'sometimes'....
OMG!!! I don't know the rules - am I allowed to say where this happened???? It's somewhere BIG. Anyhow my wedding is in 72 days - at what point do I start throwing a fit? The thing is I'm also getting my gown from them, which already came in, thank god, but it won't be in my possession until after the fittings are done.
Help!?!??!

If I were you I would call back again and ask to speak to a manager who would know better thatn the 'messenger' you spoke to. I hope I'm wrong but I bet the store you are talking about starts with a B and end in a N.

No, that's actually not it...though I have heard horror stories about this place too. But I'd also heard great things, so I thought it was more a matter of taste. Anyhow I've met this manager - I can't imagine she's going to give me an answer. I don't know what to do.

I would demand a status on the dresses, and if I got no satisfaction, I would call the manufacturer myself.

Good idea...why do these things take so long to come in anyhow? The whole process baffles me.
