Okay so I got Jury Duty (the telephone standby thing) for this Monday. yesterday I got a letter in the mail because I didnt detach and fill out the Jury Information card.....OOPS!!!! So they want me to mail it in BEFORE July 31 (which today is Friday...doubt it will get there in 1 day) OR my court appearance will be mandatory. What should I do? Im thinking I can call and see if I can complete the form and see if I can fax it over?

as long as the post mark is today, you are fine....if it is postmarked before the 31st, you should be ok.

I would call and explain the mix up and that you received the latest form/letter last night when you got home and blah, blah, blah...but if you mail it by 1, they should have it ON Monday. It's likely no one will be there to accept mail on Saturday..but from what I recall, most government offices use PO Boxes anyway so it will go there. I wouldn't ignore it...that could cause undue trouble.
