Hey girls. I noticed today when I shook my ring near my ear that I can hear something jngling around So my guess is my stone is loose. I'm going to tak eit to the jewelers this afternoon, but I wanted to ask you girls how long something like this should take? Is it something I can wait around for (like it'll take only a few minutes and they can do it while I wait) or if I need to leave it overnight with them?? I hate doing that
thanks!

Re: Uh-Oh! My stone is loose.
that is what my jeweler said to do to check for a loose stone too...mine was able to have his setter fix it on the spot...i guess it depends on the jeweler.

usually a day or two. If it is platnum it will take a bit longer from what i heard. mine is loose too but my jewler said there is no risk of it falling out. Ill will fix mine closer to the wedding so i can get i sized and cleaned and polished

Re: Uh-Oh! My stone is loose.
this happened to me....it took about an hour for them to fix it. but ti wasnt too bad since our jeweler is right across from the source mall..so we walked around & shopped for an hour & then returned for the ring.
This happened to me a few months ago and my jeweler did it for me as I waited. Took about 15 minutes.

Re: Uh-Oh! My stone is loose.
This happened to me within the 1st month of wearing e-ring. FH & I went into the diamond district and our jeweler repaired in less than 1/2 hour. We browsed through their collection of wedding bands while she fixed my ring. Hope your ring is fixed.

Re: Uh-Oh! My stone is loose.
I had to leave mine for about 2 hours. IT cost 20 dollars since I took it to a jewler closer to where I live and not where DH bought it.

Mine came loose and the jeweler fixed it while I waited - cleaned it too so it's nice and shiny again!

Re: Uh-Oh! My stone is loose.
This just happened to me as well b/c I have a high setting. Our jewler had me stay while he fixed it and even brought me in the back so that I can see that he wasn't doing anything to my ring. It only took a few minutes.
