They didn't cut it or order it yet.. I still have alittle over a yera.. they don't like to order dresses that far in advance

Do you know what the something else is or do you just think in general you might want something different? Do you think you'd be able to cancel the order on the first dress since they haven't actually placed the order for it yet?

The one you want to try on is beautiful, but I feel bad that you're second guessing your original dress! Also, I haven't heard of many people being able to cancel their wedding dress order, although I'm sure it's been done.

since they did not place the order yet you are not stuck with that dress they should let you get a different dress and put that money towards the new one

If you haven't ordered the dress, then you should be fine. But, I would call the store just to make sure.
