UH Why do I get put in the middle

I was arguing with my parents and FI got involved. (he did this on his own) He started arguing with my parents.

I told him I am not as strong as he is, I break very easily. He said I need to toughen up and start to put my foot down and start reacting

So he tells my dad off and basically puts him in his place (he said the things I wish I could say) and my dad called me screaming. I just started crying.

Now FI is mad at my parents, my parents are mad at me and him and I feel like I am getting pulled in a million directions.

I dont know what to do or how to stop crying

Well first off to you...

Don't cry. You neeed to speak your mind to people...that doesn't mean you have to get into a huge argument and screaming matches...just think about what it is that is bothering you or things that you feel need to be addresses and speak to the parties that need to know what is up. Do it calmly.

Don't let it upset you to the point of crying!!

its a long mess and i have tried to speak to my parents about it but it blew up. FI got mad because he doesnt like to see me upset.

why does money always ruin people

my dad got his inheritance check and its less then what it was originally (the lawyer took a nice chunk) and now the money I was suppose to get I am not getting. So I threw a fit and it blew up into a whole screaming match.

It got to a point where I yelled at my dad keep all the money, keep everything its not worth it to me anymore. I would much rather have my grandmother alive with me then the money.

look on the bright side.. your fiance is defending you which is a good thing

You are lucky to have a man who cares about you so much. It's true that money can get in the way of good relationships. Just take some time and don't talk to your parents for a day or so. This way to can relax and think and approach it refreshed next time.
