So I used to be close with a family that I babysat for awhile back. We saw each other, sent Christmas cards, etc. The last time that I was in touch with them was shortly before I sent out STDs...so I sent them one.
For some reason, I NEVER heard from them again after that. No Christmas card...even though I sent them one... nothing...
Despite that, I had sent an STD, so I did send an invitation. It got sent back to me as undeliverable, but it has their new address listed on it. They moved like 1-1.5 hours from where they were living, and never told me!
I'm kinda like wteff...but I guess I'll just send it to the new address anyway.

You don't have to send them an invite. If you totally lost touch and they didn't even tell you they moved, the STD means nothing.

i agree that it's very odd ... but if you want them there, then i think you should send it. you don't want to regret not inviting them.

Yup...I would send it. Who knows why they had to move...people don't always move because they WANT to, KWIM?
Hmmm you two are right. It's quite possible that something happened.

When I moved I only sent out a change of address to close friends and family. If it was someone I only saw on occaision I didn't really think it was important. They may have totally forgotten that they even got the STD for the wedding. Just resend it. I don't think it's a big deal or that they didn't tell you intentionally. They probably just didn't think of it.
