... why it is that the post office taped a meter strip over the top of my FREAKIN CUSTOM STAMPS after I had them hand canceled so nicely????????
I mean, the freakin envelope is 6.5' square. There was at LEAST a one inch border under the address where they could have placed the freakin strip, but NO, they decide to tape it RIGHT OVER OUR FACES.
Lovely.
They come off easily enough, I just don't know if people will realize it's a photo stamp and bother to take it off. Oh well.

I can't stand the post office!! I had sent invites to my house to my parents and brothers -- 1.) so they could have an invite to keep and 2.) just so I could see how they made it through the mail
but they didn't put any sticker strips on ours, but I had so many issues with postage -- my local post office told me it would be almost $1.00 to mail each invite and the one a few miles from my house told me .58

We go through all that work to make invitations look nice and get pretty stamps and they go and cover them up!! Do they not SEE the stamp and the fact that it's not the stupid bell?? I feel your pain. Lets all take a moment to wish something bad on the USPS..

They did that to mine too!! But only to some of them. Its the receiveing post office that does that by the way.. so some wont have that on it

It is the receiving post office, the invites go thru 2 machines, you scratch the first one by hand cancelling but there is no way to get rid of it going thru the second one
