I've seen the cute pics with the bridal party outside with umbrellas. I think it's a cute idea but who can predict the weather....
So do you buy them for the bridesmaids & use them for pics whether it rains or not? Do you give it as part of their gift? where do you get them from? I was thinking of just doing clear ones.

wow I just got this done today! Great minds think alot...
I went to old navy and found a flowery multi colored pattern that matches the BM dresses...I bought one for each bridesmaid and myself. They were so cheap with a coupon...5 bucks each! I am going to give them as a gift and ask them to bring them if it rains or maybe even regardless

I was going to do the same thing and have the girls use them if it rains. You are right, you can't control the weather but you might as well try to get some cute pics regardless. I've also seen silly pics where the bridesmaid and bride take one wearing galoshes.

It rained on my sister's wedding day and we had no choice but to use umbrellas and the pictures came out GREAT! I think they would be an awesome addition to your photos

I bought paper umbrellas for photos. All my bridesmaids will be carrying fuschia ones, and mine'll be white with 'I Do' written in fuschia on it. Hopefully, it won't rain that day, especially since my ceremony'll be outside!

my brother & SIL used umbrellas in their pics (it was raining a bit on their wedding day in Oct 09)-I absolutely LOVED how the candid umbrellas pics came out...see below:
